Team training seats
These terms apply to employer purchases of Meridian RBT training seats, alongside the Meridian Terms of Service and course terms. Updated October 7, 2026.
What your order includes
Each seat provides one learner with access to the self-paced RBT training course and 30 days of the Practice exam-prep plan, which begins when the learner completes the course. The order is a one-time payment. Competency assessment, BACB application, examination, and certification fees are not included. Training alone does not confer the RBT credential.
Pricing
The quantity, per-seat price, and subtotal appear before checkout and on each invoice. The volume price counts the seats in that order plus all seats your organization has previously purchased and paid for. Once your organization reaches a price band, later orders receive that band or better, even for a single seat. Unpaid, canceled, refunded, or reversed orders do not count toward a band. The price of an invoice is set when the invoice is issued. Any applicable taxes appear before payment or on the invoice.
Invoices and purchase orders
Instead of paying by card at checkout, the purchasing account can request an invoice from the seat manager. We create the invoice, with our own invoice number, and email it to the billing contact you provide. If your organization issued a purchase order (PO), you can add its number and we’ll print it on the invoice; a PO is not required. Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date (Net 30) and are paid online through the secure invoice page, using the payment methods shown on the invoice. Seats become available only when the invoice is paid in full. Requesting an invoice does not reserve seats. An organization can have one unpaid invoice at a time; card purchases are still available. You can cancel an unpaid invoice from the seat manager, and we may cancel an invoice that remains unpaid after its due date. Nothing is owed on a canceled invoice. Once an invoice is paid, the purchase is final and nonrefundable, as described below. Need a W-9? Email contact@meridianbx.com and we’ll send one.
Assignments and invitations
The purchasing account manages the organization’s seats. An unclaimed seat may be assigned or reassigned. Invitation links expire after 14 days; creating a new link invalidates the previous one. The learner must sign in with the assigned email and accept the terms. If an accepted learner leaves the organization before completing 10 hours of credited training and has not completed the course, the purchasing account may release and reassign that seat once at no charge; the new learner starts the course from the beginning, and the previous learner’s access ends. Otherwise, an accepted seat cannot be transferred.
Learner responsibilities and privacy
Learners use individual accounts and must complete all required course activities and credited training time. The course completion window starts when the learner starts training, as described in the course terms. For learners who accept the current team seat terms, the employer dashboard shows assignments, credited hours, lesson progress, completion dates, and certificate status. It also shows an exam-readiness estimate (a projected score on a full-length practice exam, with a likely range), scores by exam content area and by task within each area on the competency-assessment prep sheet, weekly training and practice activity, the last activity date, and certification steps recorded by the learner or the employer: competency assessment, BACB application, exam date and result, and first billable session. The employer can send the learner reminder emails through Meridian. Readiness is an estimate of practice performance, not a prediction of the official exam result, and employers should not use it as the only basis for an employment decision. Individual answers, question text, and detailed learning records are not shared with employers. For a learner who accepted an earlier version of these terms, the dashboard shows only what that version described. Learners can download and share their own certificates.
Payments, refunds, and support
Seats become available only after payment is confirmed, or for an invoice, when it is paid. Team seat purchases are final and nonrefundable once paid, including unused or unassigned seats, except where applicable law requires a refund. Seat reuse is limited to the one-time release described above, before the learner reaches 10 credited training hours. We’ll correct duplicate charges or billing errors. A payment dispute, or a full refund of an order (for example, one required by law), can restrict that order and end course access for learners using its seats. Contact Meridian support or email contact@meridianbx.com about a paid order before making another payment.
